Meenu Thakur was the panelist at the 1st Global Congruence to promulgate International Corporate Governance Day, at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad. She spoke on the linkages between the Natyashastra, Arthasthastra, Governance in the field of performing arts, and also on the lessons learnt from the past through the Gurukul System which has a parallel in modern-day CSR.
